AIB branch in Naas given the green light to undertake renovation work worth almost €1M

AIB's branch in Naas is set to get a makeover in the coming months after it was confirmed that Kildare County Council were giving the green light to a planning application that will give the building in interior facelift. The project is worth €994,000 and was initially put forward to the council on January 17 of this year, and they have given the nod of approval for the alterations to the existing building on Main Street. There will be new self service areas built into the premises, while a new public banking hall, counters and meeting rooms will also be constructed as part of the development. A single storey extension to the rear of the site has also been listed among the panning documents, as has new building mounted back illuminated signage to the front and rear elevation and sundry associated works. No date for the commencement of the work has been announced as of yet.
