Fishing and BBQ family fun day in Athy on Sunday

A Kid's Fun Day incorporating fishing and a BBQ takes place at Kellyville Lake, Athy this weekend. Athy & District Anglers said the event on Sunday is sponsored by the Athy Lions Club, Quinn's of Athy, International Concentrates (Coca-Cola), Welsh Rugby, Coillte Ireland, the Clanard Court Hotel, Athy and Kildare County Council. Register at 1.30pm for activities which run from 2pm - 5pm. A limited stock of fishing gear will be provided on the day. All are welcome. A mini bus is available to collect passengers from Paddy Dunne's on Woodstock Street from 12pm. Please contact Mary White on 087 2969101.
