0.2 acre vacant Kildare site to command a fee of almost €300K for its sale

House prices in Kildare are rising all the time, and with that comes a steep rise in the price of land as well. Land with planning permission already granted is especially sought after in the current economical climate, so it is understandable that the prices for such plots come at a higher price. However, €295,000 for a 0.2 acre site 500 metres from Celbridge town is indicative of the massive prices that are now being quoted for relatively small parcels of land. The site has permission for the construction of a two-storey detached four-bedroom house for the next five years, so there is no pressure to build on it right away. The advertisement for the land, which is being sold through Remax Partners, says that 'feasibilty studies have suggested that a small multi unit development may be suitable on the site subject to planning. For the price of the small piece of land you could buy four-bedroom properties throughout Kildare and still have enough money left over to furnish the house.
