A Co Kildare woman is appealing for other females out walking alone to be aware of prank clowns in the area. A Clane woman, who is making the appeal on social media, is reporting to be out walking last night in the Abbeylands area, between 8.30pm and 9pm, when she was approached by a male. She said: " A teenager decided it would be 'funny' in his eyes to approach me head on while wearing a evil clown mask. Now I saw him coming and moved over to one side which he decided to move straight into my path head on , I ended up having to shove him out of my way and carry on. He then decided to follow me past Abbeylands apartment block , only for two other lads letting a yell out after him, he walked back to them I think, I carried on to my brother's house for safety then."
