In 2011, Superquinn closed its doors, leading to the loss of hundreds of jobs. The site has been empty since then sparking serious concerns for the future retail viability of Naas town centre. Mr Lawless said today on his Facebook account: "Good news for Naas - Dunnes are committed to developing their supermarket at the old SuperQuinn site on the Main Street."
