Jolly Good Opening Hours for popular Naas Café and Restaurant

Jolly Café and Restaurant in Naas are launching new opening hours in the run up to Halloween, the café/restaurant will continue to open seven days a week but will close at the earlier time of 4.30pm daily. The day trade is booming with breakfast, lunch and brunch offerings and owner, Mark Condron has decided to restructure the opening hours. This step will allow them to refocus on the day trade to maximise and build on the current menu offering, while expanding their range of take away lunches and pastries to make Jolly more accessible and inspired. Jolly fans needn’t panic as the café/restaurant remains as committed as ever and will continue creating a menu ripe in original interpretations. The enthusiastic team at Jolly are devoted to delivering adventurous cuisine that appeals to and excites all tastes and palates – something that has helped them in their success to date. Locals have long admired Jolly and it is known for “hitting the right spot” as it brings a little urban chic to the suburban town of Naas. Jolly opened its doors to much applause in December 2012 and opening in the recession was a risk but one that paid off for owner, Mark Condron. After six years in business, Jolly has strengthened its brand immensely, but now is the time for the café/restaurant to further improve and adapt. ‘The restructuring of the opening hours couldn’t come at a better time’ explained owner, Mark. ‘I have been in this game for over 15 years after transferring over from engineering. The business model has always been to open as early as possible and close as late as possible, seven days a week including bank holidays. Christmas Day and St. Stephen’s Day are the only days we close.’ Mark continued, ‘Our Head Chef, Gavin has been working in kitchens since the age of eighteen with experience as Chef de Partie in Town Bar & Grill and Sous Chef in Avoca and Harvey Nichols. This is a great model when you’re young, single and spritely, less so, if between us and our partners we have five children under the age of five.’ So, Gavin’s children Ruby, Hannah, Luke and Gavin’s wife, Jill better get used to seeing the big man as Mark said, ‘I am also really looking forward to evening bedtime chats with my children Joey and Izzy as well as spending more time with my wife, Georgina.’‘Furthermore, all our dedicated team members are thrilled. I think it will allow us to bring our offering to the next level, so watch out for some exciting new menus and food choices.’The change in opening hours will allow Jolly to focus on their great breakfast, lunch and brunch trade. The restaurant will be available to book for parties and Jolly can cater for up to 120 people. Jolly will also be dipping into new waters with plans to set up pop ups now and then with guest chefs and creative dishes so as they say, watch this space! Jolly’s new opening hours begin on October 22nd and they are - Monday to Saturday 8am to 4:30pm and Sunday 9am to 4:30pm. Until then, Jolly will be open as normal in the evenings and Mark said, ‘We’d love to see you before then.’
