'The Ambo' in Kill is set to be turned into a residential development following KCC permission

Kildare County Council have given planning permission for a new housing development to be constructed on the site of the former Ambassador Hotel in Kill. The Ambassador, once a popular venue for socialising in the 1990s for people from all over Kildare, has been in disrepair for years now, but it will now be turned into a housing development which will feature 25 new homes. Glenwave Developments Limited have been given permission to build 25 two-storey dwellings, six of which will be three-bed units and the other 19 will be four-bed homes. Planning permission has also been granted for a new vehicular entrance onto the adjoining Kill to Johnstown Road.
