Co Kildare families are being invited to a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend of community celebration with a free multicultural event in Castlefen Housing Estate in Sallins on Monday May 6 from 1pm-3pm.
The Big Hello! is going to be a weekend of community celebration. The aim of the weekend is to encourage people to get to know their neighbours, by hosting or attending a Big Hello!event in their local area.
Castlefen community group are hosting a Multi Cultural event which is taking place on Monday May 6 from 1-3 pm and it's sure to be a great day with food, dance, live music etc from different countries to promote various traditions and cultures in a positive way.
The Hello communities is about bringing communities together on the May bank holiday weekend, are aiming to increase social inclusion and promote diversity in Sallins.
The Big Hello!, Ireland’s National Community Weekend, was launched by the Minister for Rural and Community Development Michael Ring T.D. on 6 March 2019
It will see neighbours reconnect within their communities and have a celebration together which is open and inclusive for all at a very local level.
