Major commuter delays on the M7 following accident
14:58 Friday 15th of December 2017

A crash on the M7 this afternoon has led to serious delays as emergency services deal with the issue.

With commuter traffic already starting to funnel out of Dublin, traffic has hit a standstill on both sides of the road near the two Naas exits following the collision.

The incident occurred shortly before 2.30pm on the M7 Northbound between J10 Naas South and J19 Naas North.

Traffic is extremely heavy heading towards the incident, which appears to have happened close to the Sallins overpass. Traffic coming from Dublin on the M7 Southbound is moving slowly already this evening, particularly in the area going by the crash and at J9 Naas North.
