Man in Naas Court this morning facing charges of assault in Chinese restaurant

A man appeared at Naas District Court this morning faces charges that involved pushing a person down the stairs of a Chinese restaurant.

Evidence was given this morning by Supt Martin Walker how the accused allegedly ran up the stairs of a restaurant and assaulted a man and then 'threw him downstairs.'

Supt Walker said: "He has since made a full recovery. He had cuts and bruises, there were no breakages, he has fully recovered."
