Mundy to perform at Market Square on Saturday next, in support of Dawn Walk 2018 and Pieta House

The ever versatile Mundy will be the lead act at an open air concert this Saturday at Market Square, Kilcullen. The ‘Twilight Concert’ will include the energetic Kilcullen Gospel Choir, and the concert will be a celebratory event follow the annual Dawn Walk 2018 in aid of Pieta House. The walk will commence from Main Street circa 4am, with registration open at the Town Hall from 3.30am.

“We’ll walk up to New Abbey Stud and back” said Lorna Brophy “Maria Peelo, Deputy Director of Funding and Advocacy of Pieta House  will address the gathering at New Abbey and then we’ll walk back again to Market Square where a great BB breakfast will be cooked!”

It’s the fourth year of the walk, to commemorate loves ones lost to suicide and to support the vital work of Pieta House. Circa 3-400 peope are expected to walk.

“Everyone is welcome, it’s €10 for adults, children go free and monies raised go straight to Pieta House” added Lorna.  The concert will kick off at 7.30pm, tickets €15 with a BBQ planned for later in O’Connell’s Pub.  Anyone who’d like tickets please call Lorna at 087 2741 701 or Richie at 087 234 6428.

For a right lively night with Mundy of Galway Girl fame, why not take a stroll down the River Walk in Kilcullen and enjoy the concert at Market Square, commencing 7.30pm on Saturday next, July 14.
