Naas District Court today sees man who objects to speeding fine on basis saying 'speed is measured by distance over time'

A man who told Naas District Court today that he is objecting to a speeding fine because time is 'not measured over an hour'.

The man, before the court, for driving at a speed of 112km/hr in a 100km zone, said: "Speed is distance over time. I was not measured over a period of an hour, I did not travel 112km in an hour."

Judge Bernadette Owens ordered that the accused appear before Naas District Court again on November 1.
