Naas Gardaí seize learner driver's car for no insurance, tax or NCT

Gardaí in Naas seized a vehicle belonging to a driver who was on the road yesterday despite having no tax, insurance or a valid NCT.

The seizure was made by Naas Traffic Corps who also found that the person behind the wheel was a learner driver and had no full licenced driver in the car with them.

Gardaí seized the blue Toyota Corrolla as a result and the motorist will face a court appearance in regards to the various offences.

Gardaí mounted numerous checkpoints across the county yesterday, with Kilcock, Carragh and the Curragh all areas that were targeted, while numerous checkpoints were set up in Newbridge too.
