A Judge slammed a salesman who drives for a living coming before Naas District Court on a speeding fine who said he has been 'busy with life' and forgot to pay.

In court the accused said that he is a salesman who got a fixed penalty fine for driving at a speed of 119km/hr in a 100km zone, but 'forgot about it.'

He said: "I have a busy life, I have three young boys."

Judge Desmond Zaidan said: "You are driving for a living, you got a fixed penalty notice."

The accused was convicted and fined €120, with six months to pay.
