Naas Judge strikes out up to 80 speeding charges on Valentine's Day due to  'inexcusable delay' by state

Over 80 speeding charges were struck out on Valentine's Day at Naas District Court.

The charges mainly dated back to 2016.

Judge Desmond Zaidan ordered that the speeding charges were struck out on Thursday.

He said"The state is only bringing these charges to the court today. The delay is inexcusable, they should have been brought within six months."
