'My partner is being brainwashed by this man,' Kildare court told

‘I think he is using my property to hide things. He is trying to bully me out of my home.’
A woman told Naas District Court that her husband is being "brainwashed" by another man.
“I don’t have control of my property, he has full control of my property and my partner," she told the court.
The woman also alleged that two nooses had been left nearby and she handed in photographs of these as part of her application for court protection. She claimed this happened after she told her partner not to have this man around.
She said she was being subjected to ongoing harassment and intimidation and said she is “becoming in fear of my life.”
She also blamed this man for her partner becoming "severely inebriated”.
She stated: “I think he is using my property to hide things. He is trying to bully me out of my home.”
The woman also said she is terrified that he will pin her down and make her inebriated as, she alleged, he had done to her husband.
The woman said she was fearful she will die and it will be made to look like suicide.
Judge Derek Cooney said he was reluctant to grant an order without supporting documentation or images from the woman, but he would do so when this was made available.
When the woman returned with supporting material, Judge Cooney granted an interim restraining order and adjourned the case to November 9.
