New pedestrian crossing 'needed at this busy Kildare junction'

There are ‘concerns for pedestrians, especially vulnerable road users’
A call has been made for a new pedestrian crossing in Naas.
Cllr Bill Clear wants it built on the Kilcullen Road, Naas, from Swans on the Green towards the SuperValu store “in light of safety concerns for pedestrians ,particularly vulnerable road users.”
A Naas Municipal District committee meeting was told by Kildare County Council official Chris Galvin that “options for the improvement of the existing crossing” there will be explored.
He also said councillors will be briefed before any changes or any building work starts.
