Hozier to perform in Dublin to launch new album

Hozier to perform in Dublin this December

Hozier's third album will be out this August

HOZIER will perform in Dublin this December as part of his Unreal Unearth Tour.

The singer-songwriter has announced he will go on tour to launch his eagerly awaited new, Unreal Unearth. He will perform in Dublin on December 19 - and tickets are to go on sale next week.

After a four-year hiatus, Hozier released his EP, ‘Eat Your Young’, on St Patrick’s Day. The release included all new material and featured three songs, including the title track, ‘All Things End’,  and ‘Through Me (The Flood).’

In May, he released the anthemic rock song ‘Francesca’, introducing listeners to the theme of Dante’s ‘Nine Circles Of Hell’, which recurs throughout his new music, and will be explored in greater depth on his third album, Unreal Unearth, which will be released on Friday, August 18.

Last year Hozier teamed up with God of War: Ragnarök's composer, Bear McCreary to write the song “Blood Upon The Snow”, which was featured in the soundtrack for the game. The same year he also released ‘Swan Upon Leda’, in a statement shared alongside the release, the star explained that he was sharing the track as a way of showing “solidarity” with those fighting for reproductive rights.

With over 22 billion global streams, numerous platinum album certifications, multiple award nominations and wins, Hozier is recognised as one of the foremost singer-songwriters of our generation.

Tickets for 3Arena, Dublin are priced from €44.90 inclusive and will be on general sale at 9am on Friday, July 7 from www.ticketmaster.ie
