Gardaí release car details in bid to find 69-year-old man missing from Kildare

Gardaí have released details of a car a missing man from Kildare may be driving in a bid to locate him amid concern for his welfare.

Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 69-year-old Martin Kelly who is reported missing from his home in Athy, Co. Kildare, since yesterday morning, Monday, October 2, 2023.

Martin is described as being 5’ 7” and of a stocky build. He has short grey hair and a beard. He may be wearing combat shorts and a dark long sleeved top.

Martin may be travelling in a silver 08-KE Reg Vauxhall Astra, gardaí said.

Gardaí and Martin’s family are concerned for his welfare.

Anyone with information on Martin’s whereabouts is asked to contact Kildare Garda Station on 045 527730, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
