One Irish shop can call itself the luckiest in the country, as it has been confirmed to have sold not one, but two million-euro winning Lotto tickets.
The National Lottery have revealed that G O Stores in Garryowen, Limerick, sold Saturday’s jackpot winning ticket worth €8,970,934.
It is the same store that sold Dolores McNamara's winning EuroMillions ticket worth €115 million in 2005.
Ms McNamara famously became the first EuroMillions jackpot winner in Ireland after purchasing her winning €115 million ticket in July 2005 which marked the biggest lottery win in Europe at the time.
As the winning ticket holder is yet to come forward, the National Lottery are appealing to players who purchased their ticket in the Limerick City area for the April 20 draw to carefully check their tickets, as one player now has a ticket worth over €8.9 million.
The winning numbers were:01, 09, 10, 14, 26, 40 and the bonus was 04.
