Teenager arrested and charged for his part in Dublin riots
A male aged in his late teens arrested and charged over the Dublin riots will appear in court on Wednesday.
The teenager was arrested by gardaí on Tuesday, May 14, and was charged in connection with the garda investigation into serious public order incidents in Dublin on November 23.
He is expected to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice (CCJ), Court No. 1, on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
Investigations are ongoing into the large scale riots in the capital on November 23. The incidents followed an attack on a number of children on Parnell Square in Dublin amid rising anti-immigrant tensions.
Garda vehicles, shops and public property were all destroyed on the night.
