ALERT: Urgent appeal issued amid concerns for welfare of missing Kilkenny man

Darren Walker was last seen on Sunday evening

Gardaí are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Darren Walker who is missing from his home in Ballyragget, County Kilkenny.

In an appeal, issued this Tuesday afternoon, gardai say the 46-year-old was last seen at around 11pm on Sunday, June 16.

Darren is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build. He has short grey hair and a grey beard.

According to gardai, when last seen, he was wearing a white t-shirt, green tracksuit trousers and black hiking boots.

A spokesperson said both they and Darren's family are concerned for his welfare.

Anyone with information on Darren's whereabouts is asked to contact Kilkenny garda station on 056 777 5000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
