A man in his thirties believed to be from Donegal has died following a workplace incident in Perth, Australia.
The incident happened at the southbound exit of the Mitchell Fwy to Warwick Road in Greenwood.
“The man was reported to have been struck by a piece of equipment that fell,” WorkSafe said.
The 35-year-old labourer sustained serious head injuries and was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital where he died a short time later, according to The West Australian. The WA branch of the CFMEU said it was the 10th fatality at a construction site in the state this year.
