Known as the Music City, Nashville is a hub of music, fashion, healthcare, and automotive industries in the US.

The new route will be operated by Aer Lingus' new state-of-the-art Airbus A321XLR.

Aer Lingus' Chief Customer Officer Susanne Carberry said they are "thrilled" to connect Ireland to the home of American country music.

"We are thrilled to add Nashville to our expanding North American network, offering Irish customers direct access into one of the most exciting and culturally rich cities in the United States," Carberry said.
