Young girl's death shocks family and community
Tributes have poured in for young Jessica Callan from Louth who's recent passing has shocked and devastated her friends, family and community.
She was the beloved daughter of Carl and Jackie and sister of Derek, Sarah and Matthew.
She will be sadly missed by her parents, sister, brothers, brother-in-law Billy, Derek's fiancée Andrea, nephews Carter and Cian, uncles Derek, Brian, Jim, Tom and Darren, aunts Susan, Eileen and Helen, grandad John Fitzpatrick, goddaughter Bella, her extended family and friends.
Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and loved Jessica, with one mourner writing,
"Jessica was a genuinely remarkable and warm-hearted young person, who, even years after the privilege of knowing her through DYC, would always take time to stop in town for a friendly chat. She was a true credit to herself and her family. May she rest in peace."

Another message said, "My beloved wonderful niece it's a terrible thing when the world loses such a bright light and beautiful person like you am gonna miss talking to you, hearing your laugh and talking about your day I love you so much my darling and will miss you for as long as I live. God has you now sweet girl forever in our hearts all our love your auntie Danielle and your cousins Kyla Dylan and kaydee".
"Far to good for this world horrible world, you were an angel on earth now your an angel in heaven Jess. Grateful to have memories with you my childhood best friend see you when I get there Jess love always kels x," another message said.
"Heartbroken to hear the news of wee jess. Sorry to your family and friends. Glad you spent time with your sister before your tragic passing. I honestly hope the next life treats you better then this one sweetheart. sleep in heavenly peace pet xx," another tribute said.
Funeral Arrangements:
Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk (A91 KW52, entrance on Castletown Road) on both Sunday, June 1st and Monday, June 2nd from 3pm-7pm. Funeral Ceremony on Tuesday, June 3rd in the Eternity Room at 11am, followed by cremation at Dardistown Crematorium, Collinstown, Co. Dublin (K67 HP26) at 1.30pm.
