It was a lucky Friday night for two Irish EuroMillions players as tickets sold in Dublin and Mayo landed prizes of almost €20,000 each.
The two winners matched five numbers in the draw on 3rd October, securing €19,706 apiece. The Dublin ticket was bought at Mount Merrion Stores, while the Mayo winner picked up their Quick Pick at Spar, Ballyhaunis.
The winning numbers were 6, 12, 18, 25, 41 and Lucky Stars 2 and 6. While the €29.9 million jackpot went to a player in the UK.
More than 48,000 Irish players also picked up prizes across EuroMillions and Plus.

National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer congratulated the Irish winners, urging all players to “check their tickets carefully, you could be holding a winner!”
