Mrs Brown's Boys Christmas and New year Special airs on RTE One and RTE Player
RTE's The Late Late Show hosted by Patrick Kielty will not air on RTE One or RTE Player from now until New Year's Eve where the show will have a New Year's countdown to reel in 2026.
Replacing the show tonight, on Friday December 19, is a Mrs Brown's Boys New Year Special on RTE One and RTE player at 9:35pm.
On Saturday December 20, RTE is also airing a Mrs Brown's Boys Christmas Special at 8:30pm on RTE One and RTE Player.
Virgin Media Television (VMTV) has also made an announcement today, on Friday December 19, that the globally beloved sitcom Friends will soon be available to viewers across Ireland.
Starting on 6th January, all 10 seasons of the award-winning series will air on VMTV, bringing fans and new audiences alike the chance to enjoy one of television’s most celebrated shows.

First aired in 1994, Friends has become a cultural phenomenon, influencing generations and remaining one of the most-watched and most-quoted series worldwide.

Episodes will air weekdays at 7.30pm on Virgin Media One, starting on Tuesday 6th January at 7.30pm
