Search stood down for missing 37-year-old woman from Donegal amid Garda update

The search has been stood down for missing 37-year-old woman Kelly McConnell, who was last seen at the Market Square, Letterkenny, county Donegal on Monday January 26, 2026.

Kelly was last seen in the early hours of Monday at approximately 1:30am. She was wearing a black top with a black and white skirt.

Kelly was described as being approximately 5 foot in height, of a slim build with blonde hair. Gardaí and Kelly’s family were concerned for her well-being.

In an update on Wednesday, Gardaí say the search for Kelly has been stood down as she has been found safe and well. Gardaí have thanked the public for their assistance.
