Who are the guests on tonight's RTÉ Late Late Show with special moment on the cards

The line-up for tonight's Late Late Show on RTÉ has been revealed, and it's packed with big Irish names from film, media and entertainment.

Fresh from winning the Lifetime Achievement award at the 2026 IFTA ceremony, Ciarán Hinds will be live in the studio.

Known for his roles in classics such as Belfast, Munich, Road to Perdition and There Will Be Blood, Hinds is regarded as one of Ireland's most talented movie stars. As his career continues to go from strength to strength, he will chat about growing up in Belfast, his friendship with Liam Neeson and his latest projects.

BBC News Chief Presenter Caitríona Perry will join Patrick Kielty to talk about life in Washington DC and her role covering major US news stories during President Donald Trump's second administration.

She will also discuss the US-Israel war with Iran, its impact on Trump's approval rating, and how Taoiseach Micheál Martin fared in the Oval Office on St Patrick's Day.

In a special moment for the show, Kielty will interview one of his predecessors for the first time since taking over as host in 2023, with Pat Kenny joining him on the couch.

Kenny will discuss his recent move from daily radio to a weekend slot with Newstalk and reflect on decades in broadcasting, as he confirms that at 78 years of age, he has no plans to slow down.

Comedian Kevin McGahern will also drop by to talk about fronting the newest series of Cheap European Homes and life as a father of two. He will also recreate his viral opening monologue from the IFTA Awards 2026, complete with his bodhrán.

Meanwhile, Doireann Garrihy will return to the studio as she prepares to head back to the airwaves on RTÉ 2FM. The new mum will chat about the joys of motherhood since welcoming baby Rosie, as well as her plans to take her hit podcast on the road.

There will also be music from award-winning singer Freya Ridings, who will perform her new single I Have Always Loved You.

This and lots more on tonight's The Late Late Show at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
