New survey: Guess which jobs have the biggest salaries in Ireland

The top five highest-earning positions in Ireland in 2015 have been revealed.

Unusually, banking is at the top of the pile despite the financial services industry seeing thousands of redundancies since the financial crash almost a decade ago.

The results by Morgan McKinley were extracted from a study of 40,000 separate employment placements across the country.

1. Banking – Head of Compliance – €160,000 2. Professional Services – Risk Advisory – €160,000 3. IT – Chief Technical Officer – €152,500 4. Accountancy – Financial Director in a small company – €140,000 5. Languages – Inside Sales Team Lead – €62,500
