Newbridge man facing charges in connection to theft of €50,000 worth of jewellery

A Newbridge man who is alleged to have stolen €50,000 worth of jewellery from a car in Athy appeared before Naas District Court.

The 46-year-old man appeared before Naas District Court facing charges in relation a number of charges relating to theft from cars in Athy, and attempting to steal a car, in Athy, in September 2017.

Evidence was given at Naas Disrtrict Court how one of the cars allegedly broken into in Athy contained €50,000 worth of jewellery.

Judge Desmond Zaidan ordered that the accused appear before Naas Circuit Court on June 19, next.
