There are 23 patients on trolleys at Naas General Hospital today, which is down from 34 yesterday.
However this figure is still higher than five other hospitals in the Eastern region.
It is reported that 465 admitted patients are waiting for beds at hospitals across the country, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch. 330 patients are waiting in the emergency departments, while 135 are in wards elsewhere in the hospitals.
