There are 26 patients receiving treatment on trolleys at Naas Hospital today, making it the busiest hospital in the eastern region and the 4th busiest hospital for overcrowding in the country.
According to the INMO's Trolley Watch figures, there are 22 patients in the emergency department and 4 on wards elsewhere at the Kildare facility.
Meanwhile, 385 admitted patients are waiting for beds at hospitals across the country, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch. 282 are waiting in the emergency departments, while 103 are in wards elsewhere in the hospitals.

- University Hospital Limerick – 43
- Cork University Hospital – 31
- Sligo University Hospital - 27
