Blood donation drive taking place in St. Conleth's Community College, Newbridge

A two-day blood donation drive is taking place in Newbridge this evening.

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is hosting the blood drive in St. Conleth's Community College, Newbridge from 5pm to 8.30pm.

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service has revealed that they need '3000 blood donations a week' to keep up with hospital demand and they especially need people to give blood after a bank holiday weekend.

Priority is given to appointments and please remember to bring Photo ID.
