The missing Rosella bird is from Kildangan

A worried pet owner is appealing for anyone who may have spotted their missing Rosella bird to get in contact.

The colourful parrot is understood to have accidentally escaped from an aviary last night in the Kildangan area.

The golden-mantled Rosella, often called the Eastern Rosella, originates in Australia and is the most colourful and popular parrot of the Rosella family.

If anyone has seen the parrot or if they have any information on its whereabouts they are asked to contact the owners 087 677 9873.
