Gardai in Athy arrested a motorist for dangerous driving in Kilberry.
The woman was stopped doing 133km/h in a 50km/h zone.
"Gardai are operating speed checks near Kilberry following complaints from the public about speeding in the area. We are asking drivers to please slow down," said a Garda spokesperson.
