The Peter McVerry trust is recruiting Night Support Workers, based in Kildare.
Established in 1983 by Fr Peter McVerry the charity works with individuals at risk of, or experiencing homelessness, primarily in the Dublin region.
Peter McVerry Trust provides a wide range of services in the areas of prevention, housing, homelessness, under 18s residential and drug treatment.
Night Support Workers work within the Trust's Supported Temporary Accommodation Services (STA), Temporary Emergency Accommodation Services (TEA) and One Night Only services (ONO).
This role involves working as part of a team to provide live night support to participants.
Night Support Workers provide support and supervision to participants, and maintain a safe and healthy living environment, in addition to undertaking administrative duties.
The hours of work for the Night Support Worker are 10pm to 10am.
The shift pattern for a full time Night Support Worker is 4 nights on and 4 nights off.
