Occupants 'miraculously escaped uninjured' from this chaotic crash on a Kildare road

An Garda Síochana are appealing for drivers on the Kildare roads to slow down after they responded to the scene of an overturned car near Ballitore in Kildare this afternoon.

The Toyota Corolla car smashed into a speed sign before crashing into a wall and toppling onto its roof. The car was left very badly damaged as the front end and the roof appeared to have suffered the brunt of the force.

Amazingly, the driver and the two other occupants of the car managed to escape uninjured. The Garda twitter page appealed to its followers to take more care on the road and to please slow down.
