For the second day in a row, a high number of people on trolleys means that Naas General Hospital has more people waiting for hospital beds compared to any other hospital in the Eastern region.
There are currently 34 people without beds in Naas Hospital with 31 people in the Emergency Department while 3 are on gurneys on wards.
Meanwhile, the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) is reporting that there are 483 people on trolleys nationwide at the country's other main hospitals today.
