As Newbridge goes green for Sunday, March 17, make this St. Patrick’s Weekend a family celebration to remember!
The fun begins at Whitewater Shopping Centre on Saturday 16 with a display of traditional Irish dancing with The Lawless Academy of Irish Dance shortly, followed by KNC Performing Arts showcasing local young talent to get you in the mood for the National Feast Day.
On Sunday, you can look the part with FREE face painting and balloons, both before and after the parade! Talented traditional musicians from The Kilteel Comhaltas Group and later dancers from The Morrissey School of Irish Dance will keep the party going in true Irish style.
The annual St. Patrick’s day Parade will make it's way down main street Newbridge passing Whitewater Shopping Centre, between 12 and 2 pm. Wind down after the festivities with a magic show for children of all ages on Monday afternoon, or simply sit back , enjoy a coffee and watch the world go by!
When the parade has finished, the party atmosphere will continue at Whitewater, where the Food Hall is the perfect place for warming hot chocolates or treat family meals and along with Nandos, Chopped, Milano and Fujiyama on the Avenue you will be spoilt for choice.
Ahead of the day itself, Whitewater; Ireland’s largest regional shopping centre, has everything you need from cards to decorations as well as the latest fashions and delectable treats for entertaining on the day.
