Pedestrian dies after being struck by Luas tram near N7

A pedestrian has died after they were struck by a Luas tram in Dublin.

The incident occurred just before midnight at Kingswood on the Red Line.

No-one else was injured.

Services were suspended for a time, but have since resumed.

Last month a 71-year-old woman died following a collision with a Luas tram between the Cookstown and Tallaght Hospital stops on the Red Line.
