Healthy Ireland week starts in Newbridge
The County Kildare Chamber Healthy Ireland week started in the Keadeen Hotel on Tuesday.
The week-long series of events is funded by Healthy Ireland through the Kildare Local Community and Development Committee.
County Kildare Chamber hosted a Health and Wellbeing evening in The Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge with guest speakers Brent Pope, Anna Geary and Oisin McConville.
On Wednesday, the Chamber are hosting a health and wellbeing network morning in their offices in Naas followed by a health and fitness seminar in Maynooth University with GAA All Star and Five time winning All Ireland footballer Philly McMahon.
On Thursday 15th March, a complimentary luncheon takes place in the Clanard Hotel, Athy with guest speaker, local boxing star Eric Donavan and on Friday in the Glenroyal Hotel, Maynooth with a Healthy Mind, Healthy Life Lunch.
Allan Shine, CEO of the Chamber said today, “A healthy workforce is beneficial to employers.
