'A beautiful life deserves a beautiful celebration': Popular Kildare venue to host event honouring late owner

All proceeds from the night will go directly to mental health charity Pieta House
A popular County Kildare venue is planning event to honour its late owner.
Earlier this year, locals in Newbridge were shocked when they learned that Vivian Carroll, the owner of restaurant / bar businesses Judge Roy Beans and Harrigan's Bar & Grill, passed away suddenly.
Alongside his business ventures, the late Vivian Carroll was known for his supportive work in the community, and his warm and witty personality.
He is survived by his wife Breda and four children.

And now, in order to honour his memory, Judge Roy Beans has announced a music event, with all proceeds going towards the mental health charity Pieta House.
Taking to social media to announce the event, Judge Roy Beans said that ‘a beautiful life deserves a beautiful celebration’.
“Join us as we come together to honour and celebrate the incredible life of Vivian Carroll,” Judge Roy Beans added: “Let’s share the memories, the stories and the love he brought into all of our lives.”
The event will feature live bands starting from 6pm and a DJ set starting from 11pm.
Spot prizes will also be up for grabs on the day.
Judge Roy Bean’s tribute to the late Vivian Carroll will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
Moreover, on the same date, a charity motorcycle run in aid of suicide awareness and prevention will be held in another Kildare location, also in memory of the late Vivian Carroll.
