Postmaster gets green light to expand Post Office

The Post Office in Ballymore Eustace has been given permission to expand its premises.

Postmaster Sean Fogarty has secured approval from Kildare Co Council for an extension to the ground floor and first floors of the building on The Square.

Also being planned is internal seating and WIFI.

Included in the designs are awnings, a wheelchair access ramp and handrails.

The extension to the first floor will accommodate an office and a meeting room space.

An external fire escape stairs will be built at the rear of the new-look building.
