The Republic of Ireland squad announcement for this month's Euro 2024 qualifiers against Greece and Gibraltar will take place this Thursday.

The Boys in Green, who sit second from bottom on their qualifying table following four losses and one win, will be without Sheffield United defender John Egan for this international window.

Egan suffered a leg injury during the Blades' 2-0 away loss to West Ham last weekend so will be unavailable for selection.

Stephen Kenny's side host Greece at the Aviva Stadium on Friday, October 13 before they travel to Faro to face Gibraltar on Monday, October 16.
