Same Garda catches the same driver twice in 3 days with no licence or insurance

The old phrase that 'some people never learn' is certainly one that can be applied to a recent case in Waterford, where a motorist was stopped twice in the space of a few days for serious driving offences by the same Garda.
On Monday afternoon the Garda Síochána Twitter account tweeted out to say that they had caught a motorist who broke a red light on front of a Garda patrol car, leading to the officers pulling the driver over. Upon a brief inspection of the vehicle, Gardaí discovered that the motorist had no licence or insurance, while the car was without a valid NCT and there was no tax on the vehicle.
Gardaí seized the Volkswagen Golf and issued the driver with a court date, but it appears not to have prevented the person from doing the exact same thing again.
The Garda Twitter account today revealed that the same person was caught in Waterford by the same Garda while sitting in traffic, and once again they had no license and no insurance on the vehicle.
The driver attempted to hide but was spotted, and this time it was a Toyota Yaris car that was seized.
