Samhain Festival at Weston Airport announces Le Galaxie will be guesting with Annie Mac
21:15 Thursday 12th of October 2017

The long anticipated Samhain Festival is coming up at Weston Airport.

Close your eyes. It’s 2am. The ground is shaking underfoot and your fingers are pulled upwards by some invisible but very audible force. The force of a TUNE. Since their début album, Le Galaxie have replicated this scene across clubs and venues, bars and fields, tents and countries, cities and towns, parties and raves. And in doing so, the band has had a multiplier effect, going from a cult following to a force. All systems are go.

Touring with Faithless, Guesting with Annie Mac, partnering with Absolut, signing a global publishing deal with Reservoir and recording their third album to be released in March 2018,it’s been quite a year for Le Galaxie and it’s only getting started !

Dublin born Annie Mac has spent the last decade carving out a career as a broadcaster, tastemaker, talent-finder and international DJ. Radio 1’s champion of new music, the successor to Zane Lowe and John Peel, Annie Mac now presents the prime time weekday evening show from Monday to Thursday as well as her prime time specialist Friday night Dance Show, while maintaining huge success as a live DJ in demand from stadiums to superclubs.

Annie can regularly be found at some of the world’s biggest festivals and also hosts her own brand (AMP) at a number of events including her own Lost & Found Festival in Malta.

MCD are delighted to announce that they have just added international heroes 2ManyDjs to the already stellar lineup for Samhain Day 1, which features Annie Mac, Eats Everything, Mele and Kelly Anne-Byrne.

The brothers first appeared on the scene through their band Soulwax in the 1990's and have since gone on to cement themselves a place in the history books as true revolutionaries in modern dance music, seamlessly blending everything from prog-rock to r&b and everything in between during their memorable, genre warping sets.

The event will be set in the incredibly special surrounds of Weston Airport hangar, just 20 minutes outside of Dublin, the first event of it's kind in the space.

Make sure you get your ticket to see Annie alongside 2ManyDJs, Eats Everything, Mele and Kelly Anne-Byrne on October 28th at Weston Airport.

On Sunday 29th, Liam Gallagher will be performing.
