Naas Rotary, in association with an Garda Síochána, has announced details of Naas Community Fete on Saturday, July 28 from 1pm-5pm - a fun-filled day for all of the family in the heart of Naas.
On the day you can expect everything you need for a fantastic afternoon in the sun: Music, Sport, Food, a pop-up Gaeltacht, and all sorts of children/ family entertainment.
The event is in aid of Barretstown!
There will be information displays from all the Emergency Services, Civil Defence, Local Authorities and the Defence Forces.
It wouldn’t be a great day out without great food. On top of the usual fantastic restaurants on offer all along Naas main street, you can also expect some delicious street barbeque food.
Don’t forget you dancing shoes. The Naas Community Fete will include performances from Jam Music, Zumba, Newbridge Wind Ensemble and the Kilcullen Gospel Choir.
There’ll be plenty of exhibitions to keep every member of the family entertained. Expect to vintage fire engines, steam engine and Rolls Royce’s.
Putting together such a wonderful event couldn’t have been possible without the collaboration of the businesses and organisations of Kildare.
Just some of those involved include Leinster Rugby, The FAI, The GAA, Irish Guide Dogs, The Defence Forces, The Coast Guard, Civil Defence, Newbridge Wind Ensemble, Jam Music, The Garda Band, Vintage vehicles, the Kildare Youth Theatre, and many, many more.
