Shops and businesses reopen across Kildare today as people plan to restock

Supermarkets across Kildare are set to reopen this morning, or have done so already, after the Status Red weather warning was lifted in the county.

With most stores closed for almost two days, many residents across the Leinster region have been low on food supplies, and the opening of the stores across the east of the country will be a welcome development for many.

Tesco are opening all of their stores in Kildare at 11am this morning, though they have warned that weather conditions may mean a slight variation in opening times.

Lidl are opening all of their stores in the Leinster region from 10am, while Aldi opened theirs this morning at 9am.

SuperValu stores across the county reopened at 8am this morning also.
