'So thoughtful': Kildare girls and credit union donate bake sale proceedings to animal charity

Kildare Animal Foundation said that the donated money will go towards its vets bill
Ain’t that an instant day brightener!
In a kind move, two young girls, with the aid of Life Credit Union in Newbridge Credit, have donated the proceedings of a recent bake sale, totalling €720, to Kildare Animal Foundation (KAF).
Taking to social media to explain the heartwarming decision, KAF, which is also a registered charity, said: “We were delighted to have a visit from Life Credit Union in Newbridge recently.
“These lovely little girls did a bake sale for us and the credit union topped up the donation; absolutely so thoughtful and kind of everyone involved.”
KAF also said that it will put the donated money towards its vets bill — “The ever patient Hawkfield Vets will be so glad to see our bill coming down for a change,” KAF added.
The group concluded its statement by thanking everyone involved.
The gesture by the girls and Life Credit Union was also commended by social media users, with one remarking: “Wow, well done girls, that is an amazing amount to raise for the shelter.”
A separate user also called the girls ‘amazing young lady’s [sic]’ while another called them ‘little superstars’.
